The Regional Event/Logistics Manager (RLM) is responsible for all day-to-day logistics of the Cancer Awareness Roadshow in our Scottish region (based around Glasgow). This will include transportation of all kit, set up and pack down and supporting the CRUK nurse teams. RLMs also have accountability for health and safety, as well as communicating basic health messages to visitors in line with given Cancer Research UK (CRUK) communication boundaries.
You will play a key part of our annual Cancer Awareness Roadshow and Hubs campaign, visiting locations from April to December (approx 35 mile radius from Glasgow). The Roadshow is live Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays plus up to 5 weekend events across the campaign.
Qualifications:
- A professional and motivated person with a can-do attitude.
- Confident in communicating basic health messages to visitors in line with the given Cancer Research UK communication boundaries.
- Experience of logistics management including driving, set building & de-rigging.
- You will have an interest in the charity and share the Cancer Research UK vision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, you will be aware of your own impact on others, sensitive to the needs of others with discretion at all times.
- Dedicated & flexible.
- Based in/ or near Glasgow.
- Driver's license.
