RPL is looking for a Manager to help deliver commercial due diligence and strategy projects to private equity and corporate clients. You will be the engine of a project, driving the planning, research, and creation of reports, with the help of your junior and senior colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Report planning
  • Research
  • Secondary research (desktop), data entry, and analysis
  • Primary research (conducting customer and stakeholder interviews and email surveys)
  • Transcribing customer and stakeholder interviews, and performing data entry and analysis
  • Creating transcript documents that will be shared with clients
  • Formatting and quality checking of interviews and other project outputs
  • Any other project and non-project related tasks assigned to you by your line manager

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a research/report writing role (ideally CDD, but could be strategy/CFH)
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (what’s most important is demonstrating critical thinking, attention to detail, and being eager to learn and work)
  • Research and analysis skills (ability to research independently across multiple sources, distill enormous amounts of information, and cherry-pick the most important pieces of data; familiar with Microsoft Office (esp. PowerPoint, Excel and Word))
  • Writing skills (Ability to analyse data, form a story, and present it clearly and concisely; excellent attention to detail (spelling, grammar and formatting))
  • Planning and time management skills (self-motivated, comfortable juggling multiple tasks, able to manage time and stick to deadlines)
  • Strong person skills (a team ethos, and eagerness to engage with the team and other stakeholders)

Location

RPL has an office in Canary Wharf, London. RPL operates a flexible model (employees work both at home and in the office) but candidates must be close enough that they could commute to the office full-time if needed.
