This is a full-time on-site role involving travel throughout Scotland/NE for a Ventilation Engineer. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ventilation systems for commercial properties, including refurbishment and/or replacement of air handling units and fans. Reporting to the Supervisor/Project Manager, you will be responsible for safe, compliant, and programme-driven delivery in line with CDM 2015, the Building Regulations, and our quality management systems. Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge supported by qualifications relating to ventilation systems, installation techniques, and maintenance procedures.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Demonstrable experience on UK construction projects delivering ventilation and air conditioning works.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigerant pipework, AHUs and FCUs.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK construction health & safety legislation, CDM 2015 duties, and permit-to-work systems.
- Confident reading M&E drawings, schematics, equipment schedules, and BIM/Revit-issued models.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills, with IT literacy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant certifications or training in HVAC or ventilation systems are required.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to client locations.
