As a Corporate Finance Executive, you will support the delivery of reporting accountant services and capital markets transactions, with a primary focus on IPO and RTO engagements across the AQUIS Exchange, LSE AIM, and Main Market. This is a reporting accountant–led role with a strong emphasis on financial due diligence, regulatory compliance, and capital markets readiness for listed and listing entities. You will work closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality reporting outputs in line with market and regulatory requirements. The role will be split approximately 60–70% on reporting accountant transactions and 30% supporting other corporate finance services, including transaction services (due diligence) and lead advisory projects such as buy-side and sell-side M&A.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of reporting accountant services on IPO and RTO transactions
- Work on capital markets transactions across AQUIS, LSE AIM, and the Main Market
- Prepare financial information and reports for inclusion in prospectuses and admission documents
- Assist with regulatory and compliance requirements for listed entities and transactions
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, lawyers, and clients
- Support financial due diligence engagements on both buy-side and sell-side transactions
- Analyse financial performance, trends, and key risk areas
- Assist in the preparation of reports for clients and stakeholders
Lead Advisory & M&A Support
- Support buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
- Assist with preparing presentations, financial analysis, and deal documentation
- Contribute to transaction execution under the guidance of senior team members
Compliance & Technical Delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in financial reporting
- Apply technical audit knowledge to capital markets engagements
- Work collaboratively across corporate finance teams
- Develop knowledge of capital markets, due diligence, and advisory services
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and deliverables
Qualifications & Experience
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part‑qualified nearing completion
- Audit background within a professional services firm
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Demonstrated interest in capital markets and corporate finance transactions
