The team
Our recruitment team is part of People & Talent Development. Our team comprises of 1 Senior Manager, 2 Managers, 2 Executives and an Administrator based across London and Bristol.
We work closely with the wider People & Talent Development team and Responsible Business to provide a high-quality and inclusive recruitment service across the firm.
The role
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager for a 12m FTC to lead lateral Associate recruitment in the UK. You will be based in our London office reporting to the Senior Recruitment Manager and working closely with other members of the recruitment team.
In consultation with hiring Partners and senior stakeholders, you will source and secure high-quality talent through a combination of direct sourcing and effective management of recruitment agencies. You will play a central role in delivering a proactive, commercial, and inclusive recruitment service across the firm.
You will also have opportunity to collaborate with the wider People& Talent Development team on additional recruitment activity, including firm-wide projects and initiatives.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- At least 5 years of experience gained as an agency recruiter at a leading legal recruitment agency, or a mixture of agency and in house legal recruitment background.
- Proven knowledge and experience of the legal recruitment market.
- Ability to manage, consult and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to build relationships with internal clients, external suppliers and recruitment agencies.
- Proven experience in running an end-to-end recruitment process including. contributing to building the business case to hire, producing job descriptions and shortlisting CVs.
- Understanding of GDPR and Employment Act legislation as relevant to recruitment activities.
- Has an interest in understanding and developing AI tools.
- Ensures the effective use of the firm's website, social media, job boards, and other media to source diverse candidates.
- Develops client relationships and adopts a client-centric approach to deliver strong results and innovative solutions.
- Utilises data to deliver commercial solutions and report to the business.
- A collaborative and influential leader within a team who coaches and develops junior team members to achieve their full potential.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and is committed to lifelong learning to build knowledge and expertise.
