Role overview

The role involves various administrative tasks including:

  • Scheduling courses for Learning programmes, managing logistics and administration of curricula and RPC firm-wide programmes.
  • Managing communications processes in consultation with L&D Managers to ensure participants understand requirements.
  • Taking ownership of administration relating to RPC firm-wide learning programmes for legal and business skills.
  • Supporting L&D Managers with administrative tasks for off-site and residential training programmes.
  • Organising the production of the monthly Learning newsletter.
  • Managing queries related to SRA Continuous Competence.
  • Providing extensive diary management for the L&D Team.
  • Producing documents and materials for training programmes.
  • Maintaining accurate records of course scheduling and attendance.
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects within the L&D team.
  • Carrying out supplier due diligence.

Systems

  • Setting up AV equipment for courses and meetings.
  • Administering the Learning Management System (LMS), including data entry and monitoring attendance.
  • Managing LMS data and creating events and classes on the LMS.
  • Organising mandatory training for new joiners.
  • Using and administering third-party systems.

Delivery

  • Providing desk-side coaching and support on the LMS.

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Proven ability to plan and organise complex events.
  • Comfortable working in areas of ambiguity.
