My client is seeking a highly experienced Investment Onboarding Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a critical role for a detail-oriented, delivery-focused professional with deep experience in investor onboarding, compliance processes, and project management within financial services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end onboarding workflows and driving process optimization, stakeholder coordination, and implementation of best practices across our investor servicing and fund operations infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full investor onboarding lifecycle for new and existing clients.
  • Lead cross-functional onboarding projects, coordinating between internal operations, legal, compliance, technology, and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation across KYC/AML processes.
  • Serve as the key point of contact during onboarding projects, maintaining transparency, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and communication protocols.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for workflow automation and process improvements.
  • Work closely with product and technology teams to support the configuration or implementation of onboarding and operational systems.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, Investor Services, or related areas, with strong exposure to investor onboarding and compliance operations.
  • Proven track record in project management, ideally related to technology transformation or software implementation within financial services.
  • In-depth understanding of investor documentation, onboarding requirements, and operational frameworks within fund structures.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work closely with internal and external clients across varying levels of seniority.
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a strong commitment to operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS-based investor onboarding platforms or enterprise fintech solutions.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies).
  • Background in a client-facing role at a financial software provider or fintech organization.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated environment with exposure to private markets, hedge funds, or alternative investment platforms.
