My client is looking for someone to run their in-house marketing team in London - they are a growing and interesting Financial Trading house with huge ambition. They are looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing who can own growth across Meta Ads and Google Ads, while also running a tight content and social engine. This is not a strategy-only role. You will be executing day to day, leading from the front, and building the foundations of our in-house marketing function.
What you will be doing:
- Own and scale paid acquisition across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google (Search, YouTube, Performance Max).
- Build campaigns end to end, including structure, creative testing, audiences and keywords, landing page alignment, retargeting, and scaling.
- Ensure tracking is correct, including GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and CAPI, Google conversion tracking, UTM structure, attribution, and reporting.
- Monitor key KPIs and make decisions from data, including CPA or CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, and LTV.
- Produce weekly reporting that is clear and actionable, covering what worked, what did not, and what we do next.
- Own the marketing calendar, including offers, launches, promos, and social posting schedules.
- Brief and coordinate creatives, including hooks, angles, scripts, ad concepts, thumbnails, and copy.
- Work closely with internal teams such as community, support, and operations to keep messaging consistent and conversion focused.
- Help hire and manage a small in-house team over time as we build a three-person function.
What they are looking for:
- Proven track record running Meta Ads and Google Ads with measurable results.
- Strong grasp of performance marketing fundamentals, including testing frameworks, scaling, retargeting, and creative iteration.
- Confident with tracking and analytics and able to troubleshoot issues without relying on an agency.
- Comfortable moving fast in a high output environment.
- Experience in fintech, trading, crypto, subscription, or high velocity ecommerce is a bonus.
- Must be able to work on site in the City of London.
Nice to have:
- Experience with affiliate or influencer marketing and how it ties into paid acquisition.
- CRO experience, such as landing pages, funnels, and conversion rate improvements.
- Strong creative instinct and understanding of what wins on Meta and how to iterate quickly.
This is an exceptional mandate - please let me know if interested.
