We are seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer with a strong background in building scalable, secure, and user-facing digital services.
Job details:
- 6-month initial contract with a high potential for extension.
- Fully remote opportunity within the UK, with any ad-hoc travel expenses covered.
- Day Rate: Up to £350 per day (Inside IR35)
- Essential Requirement: Candidates must hold active SC Clearance.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of a critical, high-scale digital service. Leveraging your expertise across the full technology stack, you will build robust solutions that meet stringent standards for security, performance, and reliability.
Key Expertise Required:
- Frontend & Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML, with a deep understanding of responsive UI patterns and web standards.
- Backend & APIs: Strong experience with Node.js and Spring Boot microservices, RESTful API design, and containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Integration & Data: Demonstrable skill in event-driven design using Kafka and integration with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/DocumentDB.
- Security: A proven track record of embedding security into the development lifecycle, with experience in IDAM/SSO, RBAC, SSL/TLS, and key management.
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud operability (telemetry, logging) and a strong discipline for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git best practices.
This role requires a collaborative professional who has a proven track record of delivering within multi-disciplinary teams to meet the high standards expected in secure digital environments.
