Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days on-site per week)

Contract Length: 12 Months

Day Rate: £460-£480 Inside IR35

Project: Data Migration (Hybrid Cloud Environment)

Overview:

Our client, a major player in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support a large-scale data migration project in a hybrid cloud environment. This is a key role requiring strong database administration expertise and prior experience in complex migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases in a hybrid cloud setup
• Support end-to-end data migration activities
• Ensure performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security of databases
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure seamless integration
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments
• Strong experience with data migration projects
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures (e.g., on-prem + Azure/AWS/OCI)
• Solid understanding of Oracle RAC, RMAN, and performance tuning
• Financial services/banking experience is a plus
