An exciting opportunity has opened for a Google Flow AI Developer to join a high-impact project supporting a major UK public sector programme. This role is focused on enhancing and automating the call triage experience for a non-emergency public service line, leveraging Google Dialogflow CX and associated technologies.
You’ll be responsible for developing conversational AI that can understand and classify caller intent, extract relevant data (e.g., postcodes), and route calls effectively. The role involves integrating voice-based AI with backend systems, converting speech to text, and ensuring outputs are properly stored, matched, and forwarded.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop conversational experiences using Google Dialogflow CX API to determine caller intent.
- Implement and integrate Google Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech APIs for real-time voice interaction.
- Package and store interaction data for routing and analysis using Google BigQuery.
- Support intent matching and location-based routing using caller-provided information (e.g., postcode detection).
- Work closely with existing engineering teams to ensure smooth integration with Cisco CVP and other voice infrastructure.
- Collaborate with analysts to support insight reporting using Google Looker.
- Ensure solution scalability, maintainability, and alignment with security and compliance policies.
- Hands-on experience with Google Dialogflow CX API.
