A rapidly growing telecoms and digital services group is seeking an exceptional Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead the transformation and growth of its B2B division. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a pivotal executive role accountable for accelerating enterprise revenue across datacomms, cloud, cybersecurity, converged communications, CPE and professional services.
With significant opportunity to combine traditional telco capabilities with evolving IT solutions, the CBO will shape a five-year commercial strategy and deliver a focused, high-impact annual operating plan. This includes driving product innovation, elevating customer experience, developing new routes to market, unlocking capex-backed growth, and positioning the brand as a leader in next-generation B2B solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a five-year commercial strategy with a detailed year-one plan.
- Grow gross and net revenues, expand market share, and drive product innovation.
- Lead key account planning, customer success, and churn reduction programmes.
- Oversee product roadmap development to replace legacy revenue at risk and introduce high-value new services.
- Strengthen digital, direct, and partner channels to accelerate acquisition and retention.
- Create impactful marketing, brand and communications programmes aligned to growth goals.
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial organisation, ensuring the right capabilities, culture, and structure are in place.
- Provide accurate forecasting, commercial performance tracking, and executive-level reporting.
- Act as a senior member of the Executive Committee, representing the business with customers, partners, and industry bodies.
- A proven general manager or senior commercial leader with deep B2B telecoms expertise, ideally including mobile.
- Strong background spanning commercial, operational, analytical and technical areas.
- Demonstrable success leading and inspiring teams within an international or multi-stakeholder environment.
- Commercially sharp, data-driven, and skilled at disciplined, high-quality execution.
- Entrepreneurial, innovative, and highly customer-focused.
