Are you a security-focused DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise? Do you thrive on building scalable, secure platforms and automating everything in sight? We are seeking a talented AWS DevOps Engineer for our prestigious client in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in bridging development and operations, ensuring the reliability and security of critical systems.
The Role: You will be responsible for building, deploying, and monitoring cloud-native solutions, with a strong emphasis on security and proactive platform maintenance. You'll get hands-on with a modern tech stack to optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and ensure the seamless deployment of software.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage applications using AWS services like Lambda, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
- Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub workflows.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, secure coding, and access control (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform and Ansible.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments in AWS.
- Regularly audit and upgrade software packages and libraries to maintain platform security and performance.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS knowledge.
- Hands-on skills with Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, and Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and/or Node.js.
- Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee) is a plus.
- A security-first mindset and experience implementing security & compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
