We’re looking for an Azure Entra ID Architect to join an exciting, high-impact programme within a regulated UK environment. This is a great opportunity to be part of a technically advanced team driving secure external collaboration and identity governance using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

You’ll lead the design and configuration of external user access solutions to support the build of an Extranet portal on SharePoint Online/M365, ensuring seamless and compliant collaboration between internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Azure Entra ID B2B collaboration and external identity management solutions.
• Design and configure Microsoft Entra External ID (CIAM) for customer and partner access to M365 apps (SharePoint Online, Teams).
• Define and manage Access Packages, Entitlement Management, and Access Reviews.
• Implement Conditional Access and MFA policies for external identities.
• Govern identity lifecycle management, PIM, and Identity Protection.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and compliance teams to validate requirements and ensure alignment with security standards.
• Provide technical oversight to engineering teams during development and testing.

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of Azure Entra ID / Azure AD architecture and governance.
• Hands-on experience with external sharing and collaboration in M365.
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, and DLP policies.
• Experience building and supporting Extranet environments at scale.
• Ability to troubleshoot authentication and sharing issues across M365 services.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in regulated environments (finance or public sector).
• Exposure to CIAM and integration with social identity providers (Google, LinkedIn, etc.).
