As one of the UKs most exciting up-and-coming fashion brands, we’re expanding rapidly and are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join the merchandising team and play a pivotal role in the business. We are looking for an experienced Junior Merchandiser or established Assistant Merchandiser who has strong analysis and planning skills to guarantee profit and turnover objectives are met. This is an incredible opportunity to join us at a pivotal moment in our journey and be part of our ambitious growth plans. We are a multi-channel business and need somebody to help manage key relationships with our partners. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring that reporting is updated in a timely manner and robust enough to help with our future growth plans.
Key responsibilities:
- Allocate stock to ensure stock gets to the right place at the right time
- Make suggestions and identify issues in the allocation of stock
- Liaising with the warehouse regularly regarding intake
- Complete all partner product uploads ensuring accurate and timely set up
- Manage intake into partners and highlight any potential delays and issues
- Assist with optimising inventory through RTV’s swaps and internal stock movement
- Monitor partners websites to ensure that imagery, copy information, and pricing are accurate
- Maintain and update merchandising tools as needed
- Update and assist with managing the WSSI and channel WSSI’s
- Assist with reporting and analysis for Monday Trade meetings
- Presenting category sales information during Trade meetings, drawing on the week’s data insights to aid decision making on key actions for the week ahead
- Assist with the preparation of seasonal lessons learnt
- Exhibit reactiveness with bestsellers and slow sellers, making suggestions on partner quantities, replenishment and how best to drive sales
- Leads on end of season analysis with clear recommendations
- Communicate markdowns and promotions to our partners
- Being naturally collaborative with the business support functions and flexible in handling change, multiple demands and shifting priorities to support the business requirements
- Provide Ad hoc analysis as required
The Candidate:
- Proven track record as a Junior Merchandiser or Established Assistant Merchandiser
- Experience in a retail environment
- Experience using Excel
- Highly numerical
- Fantastic attention to detail
- Demonstrating flexibility with the ability to prioritise workload
- Great problem-solving abilities
- A positive outlook and a willingness to take on challenges
- A second-to-none customer focus
