About The Role

The Business Development CentreRepresentative – Thornhill is an effective communicator and has the ability to build strongrelationships with both the Sales team and the customers. The BDC is highlyfocused on Customer Retention. As a team player, the BDC strives to developcollaborative relationships throughout the dealership and we are looking formature, customer first oriented and enthusiastic candidates to help develop andgrow our business.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Provide excellent service for all inquiries via phoneand internet by answering questions and booking test drives andappointments for customers to review their vehicle options.
  • Perform Outbound calls for campaigns based on equityposition and follow up on other marketing efforts including private salesand portfolio calls.
  • Track all customer interactions, leads, andappointments in the CRM; reschedule missed appointments and follow up onoutcomes.
  • Maintain accurate customer records by purifying data,and scheduling future contact as needed.
  • Notify relevant departments of appointments, assistwith other duties, and strive to meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of vehicle features,including of competitor brands.

What You\’ll Bring

  • Education & Experience: Minimum College Diploma orequivalent; 1–3 years in customer service, call centre experience is anasset, or experience performing inbound/outbound sales calls.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong desire to deliverexceptional service with a proven track record or clear customer-firstmindset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written Englishrequired, with the ability to handle challenging situationsprofessionally.
  • Tech Savvy: Internet savvy with strong computerskills, able to learn new software, and manage sales leads efficiently.
  • Agility & Problem Solving: Quick thinker withstrong time management, adaptability, and comfort in fast-pacedenvironments.
  • Team-Oriented Flexibility: Willing to collaborate,pitch in where needed, and work evenings or weekends as scheduled.
  • Ability to learn technology and software solutions
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds (Ignite) andDealermine is an asset.
  • Experience in automotive is an asset.
