We are looking for an experienced 310S Licensed Automotive Technician to join our Roy Foss Thornhill team. In this role, you will perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards. You will utilize modern diagnostic tools, ensure safety compliance, maintain accurate service records, and deliver reliable, efficient work that supports customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Licensing & Certifications: Valid G driver’s license, ODP License, and Automotive Service Technician (310S) certification or eligibility.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience with GM products or in a GM dealership environment is considered an asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and servicing transmissions, steering, suspension, and brakes; able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Safety & Compliance: Completion of WHMIS and hoist training is an asset; adherence to safety standards and industry regulations is expected.
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills, upbeat attitude, and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Availability & Education: Completion of secondary school required; must be computer literate and available for flexible hours, including evenings and rotating Saturdays.
