Chef de Partie – Take the Lead in Our Kitchen with Britain’s Oldest Brewer! At Shepherd Neame, we know that great food is at the heart of a memorable experience. As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key role in running your section of the kitchen, preparing dishes to the highest standard, and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional quality. Located in Bearstead, near Maidstone, the Oak on the Green sits on one of the prettiest village greens in England. Today, the Oak on the Green is renowned for using largely local produce throughout the extensive food menu offering both British and Mexican cuisine.

What You’ll Do

  • Take responsibility for your section, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to company standards.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service during busy periods.
  • Uphold hygiene, safety, and compliance standards at all times.
  • Assist with stock control and ordering when required.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, helping them develop their skills.
