We are seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced German-speaking nanny for a full-time, live-out position in St John’s Wood. The family has a 21-month-old boy and are looking for a long-term nanny who can support his growth and development while speaking to him exclusively in German.
Working Hours
Minimum 40 hours per week: Monday to Thursday
Additional hours most Fridays, confirmed weekly every Thursday
Flexibility is required for extra hours as needed
Duties and Responsibilities
Full care of a 21-month-old boy
Daily preparation of fresh, nutritious meals (no sandwiches), and ensuring the kitchen is cleaned afterward
Organising age-appropriate activities, including attending soft play, baby classes, and Jaego’s House
Supporting the child’s early learning and development through play and structured activities in German
Washing and caring for the child’s clothing
Keeping the child’s bedroom, play area, bathroom, and toys clean and organised
Collaborating with the parents on weekly scheduling and routines
Requirements
Fluency in German is essential
Proven experience with toddlers in a similar role
Right to work in the UK
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Reliable, proactive, and nurturing approach
No pet care or driving required
