Key Responsibilities:
- Full care of the newborn on duty days
- Establishing a gentle, organised daily structure including feeding, sleeping and bathing
- Supporting both breastfeeding and bottle feeding as required
- Night care of the newborn
- Maintaining a calm, reassuring environment for the baby
- Baby‑related housekeeping only, including:
- Tidying the baby’s bedroom
- Washing and organising baby clothes
- Cleaning bottles, feeding equipment and baby utensils
Candidate Requirements:
- 15–25 years of professional maternity nurse experience
- Extensive newborn and postnatal care expertise
- Active, hands‑on and practical approach

- Enhanced DBS check
- Comfortable sharing the baby’s bedroom while on duty

- On non‑working days, the maternity nurse will not remain in the household
