This private client seeks a proactive and adaptable Family Assistant to support her and her 10‑year‑old son over the summer. The role focuses on companionship, organisation and general assistance rather than traditional nanny duties.

Location: London (primary), with potential assignments in Switzerland, Italy (possible cruise), and the USA (flexible itinerary).

Accommodation: Private hotel room or studio apartment provided throughout the placement.

Trial: 7‑day paid trial. For London‑based candidates local; for European candidates travel may be arranged. Client will be in London for two weeks from Friday.

Duties:

  • Run errands and assist with day‑to‑day organization
  • Accompany client and/or her son as required
  • Provide company and light supervision for a 10‑year‑old child
  • Support activities, outings and general engagement
  • Manage drop‑offs and pick‑ups from day camp
  • Take the child to sports or scheduled activities
  • Light housekeeping and simple cooking when in private residences (not required at all locations)
  • Offer overall flexible support to the household as needed

Schedule: Flexible hours and days with approximately two hours of free time daily unless on full‑day excursions or family activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Fluent English speaker; additional language skills welcomed
  • European or Eastern European background preferred
  • Confident, flexible and discreet
  • Preferred previous experience with UHNW families; candidates without MENA household experience are preferred
  • Clean background check essential
  • Driving advantage but not essential; preference for a driver
