Would you like a rewarding job opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team? NRU has currently an opportunity to recruit a staff nurse to join their friendly and professional team. We are seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join our Neuro-rehabilitation Unit based at West Berkshire Hospital. The unit has 10 dedicated rehabilitation beds for patients following neuro surgery, head injuries, stroke, and for those with neurological conditions such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome and long-term conditions such as multiple sclerosis.
Our team is looking for an enthusiastic nurse with a passion for delivering high standards of care, whilst working with compassion and kindness towards our patients and each other. We work together as a large multidisciplinary team, all striving toward our shared vision to help our patients recover with maximum independence. The multidisciplinary team works closely with community services and has regular contact with other hospitals. Excellent communication skills are essential for this job role. Main duties of the job
- The post-holder is responsible for undertaking and recording a comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, delivering, and evaluating high standards of evidence-based nursing care to a diverse group of patients.
- Expected to deliver care without direct supervision.
- Accountable for the care delivered and any omissions of care.
- Expected to teach and supervise more junior staff, students, and the non-registered nursing workforce.
- Accountable for care or any omissions of care that he/she delegates to others.
- Expected to act as a role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of a multidisciplinary team.
