The Royal Yachting Association, based in Hamble, near Southampton, is the National Governing Body for all forms of recreational, competitive and professional boating. It represents dinghy and yacht racing, motor and sail cruising, RIBs and sportsboats, windsurfing, inland cruising and personal watercraft.
Digital Product Manager – Full Time & Permanent
- Full Time: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
- Location: Hamble (Hybrid working)

The Royal Yachting Association is seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to be the digital product expert within the association. You will develop a deep understanding of all our tools and systems, their documentation, integrations, and manage them to leverage their efficient use within the RYA through a centralized digital approach. The Digital Product Manager will work with IT and the wider RYA business to ensure the variety of digital tools and systems used across the RYA are efficient and effective.
What you’ll be doing:
- The technical expert within the RYA with knowledge of all our tools and systems, their documentation, integrations, managing them to leverage their efficient use within the RYA through a centralized digital approach.
- Work with partners and staff to support the technical development of our digital platforms, including our website, DAM, learning management systems, events, etc.
- Ensure all systems are clearly documented and knowledge is shared across the department and external departments as required.
- Act as systems super-user for all RYA digital tools and platforms internally.
- Work across the business on a systems analysis to provide requirements and direction for future development of a single customer view.
- Ensure all systems operate smoothly, monitoring key systems and aligning with the organization’s processes.
- Work with the Head of Digital to support the implementation of our digital vision and strategy.
- Analytics and reporting of channel and site success to the wider business with regular established reporting and actionable decisions.
