Overview
Paediatric services is growing rapidly, with opportunities to join our team. We are looking for exceptional, committed, caring and compassionate Staff Nurses with post-registration experience to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team. Successful candidates will join our friendly, supportive teams led by Supervisory Senior Sisters / Service Managers / Team Leaders and be part of a nursing skill mix reflective of the acuity of the patient group.
Responsibilities
- Provide relevant forms of care without direct supervision.
- Participate in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff.
- Play an active part in the continuing development of the ward or department.
- Contribute to the maintenance of an environment conducive to the delivery of high standards of patient care by promoting good communication and relationships between staff, patients, relatives and visitors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-registration nursing experience.
- Experience working in an acute medical or paediatric high dependency unit.
- Experience caring for patients with tracheostomies, BiPAP, LTV or other complex medical conditions.
