Windsor Racecourse is looking for Cellar Porters to join the team to assist in the set up and delivery of race days and events.
As a Cellar Porter your day to day duties will involve:
- Reporting to site supervisor/manager for general instruction.
- The movement of both stock and equipment internally on site.
- Keeping the site tidy, presentable and safe.
- Receiving and recording deliveries.
- Cellar maintenance including changing barrels.
- Moving kegs.
- Stock taking.
- Setting rooms in preparation for race days and events.
As a Cellar Porter you must be:
- Physically fit as this role requires heavy lifting and long hours on foot.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Be comfortable working alone and part of a team.
- Be able to work in high pressure environments.
- Have a desire to work in the hospitality/events industry.
- Must be 18 or over due to the nature of the position.
- A full driving license would be an advantage but is not essential.
