Royal Voluntary Service has an opportunity available for a Product Manager to join our Product Team, working from home. You will join us on a part-time, fixed term contract until 31st March 2027, and in return, you will receive a salary of £38,041 per annum (£63,403 FTE). Royal Voluntary Service is a historic charity that mobilises volunteers to support individuals, local communities and public health services across the UK. We’re currently undergoing a significant digital transformation programme and as part of this work, we have launched GoVo, a cutting-edge greenfield platform to ignite a volunteering revolution.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a delivery-focused Product Manager who thrives on turning ideas into reality and keeping teams aligned, informed, and moving forward. In this role, you’ll take ownership of delivering meaningful improvements to GoVo. GoVo is RVS’s volunteering platform, used by thousands of volunteering organisations to find volunteers, and is a B2B SaaS offering for companies improving their employee volunteering. You will be shaping product requirements from ideation through to launch and continuous optimisation. You’ll work with product, engineering, and stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring work is well-prioritised, clearly communicated, and successfully executed. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised, an excellent communicator, and confident driving execution in a cross-functional environment.

Location: Home Based in the UK with National travel

Hours: 21 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Requirements

This is what we're looking for:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a Product Manager or similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering digital products in an agile environment
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams (engineering, design, stakeholders)
  • Background in data-informed decision making and continuous improvement
  • Experience with either B2B SaaS or B2C Platform products

Skills

  • Strong communicator – able to simplify complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Execution-focused – comfortable owning delivery and driving work forward
  • Highly organised – able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Stakeholder management – confident working with senior and diverse stakeholders
  • Technically literate – able to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
