Join Royal Voluntary Service as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Finance Officer. This is a home-based role with occasional national travel, offering a salary from £31,210 per annum on a full-time, permanent basis.
About the role:
The Executive Assistant to CFO plays a key role in upholding and promoting the organisation's vision, values, and culture. The EA will ensure positive representation of the CFO with internal and external stakeholders, working professionally and efficiently. The role requires discretion, diplomacy, and the ability to handle complex and multiple demands. Prioritisation, independent thinking, decision-making, and organisational skills are critical to the success of the CFO and the wider organisation.
Hours: 35 hours, Monday to Friday (7 hours a day).

Candidate Requirements:
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of business administration through qualification or experience; willingness to undertake training and development.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Teams; high digital literacy; resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; excellent organisation, planning, and decision-making skills; strong communication skills across various channels and stakeholders; credibility and influencing skills; problem-solving and conflict management skills; discretion and diplomacy; ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines; research, analysis, and report presentation skills.
Experience: Substantial recent experience supporting executive-level directors, ideally as a Personal or Executive Assistant at Director level; knowledge of administrative processes and working with volunteers or volunteer-led groups; experience in managing senior stakeholders and taking minutes for Board meetings.
