The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
We now have a part-time post (Saturdays only – 7 hours per day) for a Patient Care Assistant, working in the hospital alongside our dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurses and highly knowledgeable Vets. You will work across all areas of the hospital, including the theatre and wards, supporting our clinical team by assisting with patient handling, the daily set up and shut down of surgical spaces, infection control and running laboratory samples.
The successful applicant will be passionate about providing a high level of client and patient care, sharing knowledge with colleagues and students, and will have strong clinical experience. Although training will be provided for exotic species, previous experience will be an advantage. Regular in‑house training is provided in conjunction with access to external CPD.
