Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to complement our busy Emergency, Critical Care and Medicine nursing teams. This applicant will be integral to our dynamic team of vets, nurses and students that thrive under pressure and most of all have a passion for patient care.
This post would suit a friendly team player who is hardworking, caring, and enthusiastic. Previous experience in an animal care environment is essential. An animal care qualification would be desirable, but it is not essential. The role will involve maintaining infection control standards, patient handling, walking, grooming and feeding.
This is a part-time post working 14 hrs per week (Saturday and Sunday 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm ).
Training and ongoing support will be provided.
