Are you an experienced midwife with a passion for promoting a holistic approach to maternity care, providing effective management, and demonstrating leadership? This is an opportunity to join our growing and supportive leadership team at the Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on a permanent basis.

You will work closely with the Maternity Matron and consultant team, providing both clinical and managerial leadership. If you share our passion, drive, and values in ensuring women, birthing people, and their families receive quality and compassionate care, we would like to hear from you.

You will work as an autonomous clinical midwife, advising staff within the clinical area, acting as an effective role model and leader.

The post holder will be responsible for the efficient running of services, developing and implementing strategies to improve the health of women and children in line with the Public Health agenda. The successful candidate will ensure a high standard of clinical care through efficient resource use, liaising with other agencies, organizing, supervising practice, and teaching staff and students.

You will actively seek service user and family feedback to enable learning and support change. Promoting excellence in midwifery practice, you will act as a champion for safety, escalation, and multidisciplinary communication. Participation in the on-call rota is expected. You will be committed to reflective practice and ongoing learning.
