Coldfield Town Hall is a charity‑run heritage arts venue at the centre of Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. We’re looking for a creative, motivated Marketing & Content Assistant to join our small team. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain hands‑on experience across social media, email marketing, digital asset management and event campaigns, working closely with our Marketing Executive on key projects.
You’ll be involved in day‑to‑day content creation for major campaigns, such as our upcoming Literary Arts Festival and new Sutton Coldfield Jazz Club.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Creating content for social media (reels, graphics, captions)
- Supporting website updates and content management
- Creating email marketing campaigns
- Managing print signage across the venue
- Assisting with marketing campaigns across our events
What we’re looking for:
- An interest in arts, culture or the charity sector
- Creative thinking
- Some experience in content creation, copywriting or social media – e.g., coursework, a personal project, a blog or freelance work
- Comfortable using Canva (training will be provided for Mailchimp, Squarespace and Meta Business Suite)
- Reliable, organised and able to work to deadlines
- Happy to work in‑person as part of a small, proactive team
