We have an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Analyst to join our Human Resources Workforce Information team. The successful candidate will support the maintenance and development of the Trust’s workforce reports, manage weekly and monthly reports, respond to ad hoc data requests, and contribute to ensuring data quality across HR systems, including ESR. Our team is friendly, proactive, and forward-thinking, committed to delivering effective workforce reporting and integrating innovative HR technologies.

Requirements include advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Power BI and Excel, with experience in HR/workforce reporting. The role demands a team player with a proactive attitude, flexibility, high accuracy, and attention to detail. Experience with ESR is advantageous. An assessment in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power BI, will be part of the interview process. The role is based in Guildford, Surrey, with opportunities for hybrid working. It is a fixed-term position until the end of September 2026, covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interrogate and analyze data, presenting results both qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Prepare and deliver data analyses for forums, including the Trust Board, covering areas such as bank & agency usage, recruitment, sickness, diversity, turnover, staff in post, and training.
  • Ensure data is accurate and checked before release.
  • Communicate complex statistical information clearly, explaining systems and methodologies to non-expert audiences.
  • Assist with data audits to maintain ESR work structures and ensure timely updates.
  • Support monthly data quality validation processes, making corrections and reviewing procedures for accuracy.
  • Maintain data quality on ESR through regular cleansing and liaising with users for corrections.
  • Produce regular reports for managers, staff, and external bodies.
