This is an exciting opportunity to join the Research & Development Team as an R&D Administrator.
Within our Research Department we facilitate a large number of both commercial and non-commercial research studies across a wide range of specialities., As the R&D Administrator you will work closely with the other members of the team to ensure a smooth running of the office. You will be the first point of contact for initial enquiries to the R&D office and will assist the R&D Governance team with the study amendments and keeping the research database Edge up to date. Along with general office duties you will assist the communications officer with the maintenance of the website and research based communications internally within the Trust as well as externally.
You will have excellent communication, admin and IT skills. You will work within the guidelines and policies for the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring high standards of practice in accordance with Good Clinical Practice.

JOB SUMMARY
To provide a high quality and efficient administration service for the RD & I team. The post holder would be expected to support the RD&I department with procurement and maintenance of the electronic research database and applicable online systems. To act as a first point of contact to staff and visitors to the department, supporting the service as required and working as part of the administration team ensuring an effective and efficient administration service.
