We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Lead to join the People Flexi-Bank – our Temporary Staffing Team – acting as the strategic and professional clinical link between our temporary workforce and operational service areas.
This is a pivotal role in ensuring our temporary clinical staff are appropriately trained, supported, and deployed to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. You will lead the clinical engagement of a diverse, multi-disciplinary temporary workforce, ensuring they are skills-matched to service needs, while maintaining professional standards and promoting continuous service improvement.
As Clinical Lead, You Will
- Provide clinical leadership and direct line management for our clinical bank staff.
- Ensure all temporary workers, including agency staff, are appropriately qualified, trained, and competent for their placements.
- Work closely with the E-Rostering and Temporary Staffing Manager to implement and support Trust-wide initiatives that improve service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead on clinical orientation, education, competency programmes, and ongoing professional development for temporary staff.
- Act as the clinical advisor for all temporary staffing processes, contributing to the development of policies, best practices, and evidence-based approaches.
- Represent the Trust at local and regional levels, promoting high standards in temporary staffing delivery.
- Provide assurance that agency workers deployed meet Trust requirements and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
