We’re currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountancy Apprentice and looking for those of you who are excited by a challenge and ready to make an impact on our business. If you’re self-motivated, curious, and determined then our Apprenticeship programme will enable you to achieve your Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification.
This is just the start of your career with us, so as well as developing your technical knowledge, we will ensure you have access to excellent benefits as part of your career development, including a comprehensive development plan to accelerate your learning with facilitated sessions focused on enhancing personal attributes. This is all supported by a dedicated Intact Insurance UK business mentor, bi-annual networking and early careers community events and opportunities to make an impact in your community through annual volunteering days.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Your role involves working as part of the Cash Management Team.
- You will spend your time carrying out tasks and activities to support customers and deliver outperformance.
- Your responsibilities will include assisting in day-to-day financial activities such as data entry, cash processing, reconciling bank and balance sheets, as well as preparing financial statements for Intact Insurance UK and its subsidiary companies.
Your skills and experience:
- You will need GCSE Maths & English at (Grade C or level 4-9) or equivalent, plus 96 UCAS points from A levels or equivalent qualifications.
- You will add value through your flexibility, ability to keep calm, prioritise and respond to urgent situations, as well as your ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
- You will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- We want your individualism, capability, and ambition to shine through.
- You will need a zest for learning and a willingness to invest time to become a qualified finance professional.
This Apprenticeship is available only to individuals who have the right to work in England and do not require visa sponsorship. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship or work authorisation for this position.
