We’re looking for experienced Business Analysts to join our CIO function, supporting a diverse portfolio of programmes and platforms across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a positive, delivery‑focused BA who enjoys working across complex change and is comfortable operating in an Agile environment. You’ll play a key role in helping us move from traditional project delivery to value‑stream‑led outcomes, while contributing to the evolution of our Business Analysis Centre of Excellence.
This is a hybrid role (3 days per week in the office) and can be based from any of the following offices – London, Horsham, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow or Chelmsford.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Eliciting, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements using a variety of techniques
- Translating business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements and user stories
- Analysing current and future state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Interpreting and interrogating technical information, including systems, processes and data
- Supporting planning across various workstreams to ensure successful delivery
- Providing hands‑on support to help identify, contain and resolve technical or system issues
- Contributing to, and continuously improving, BA Centre of Excellence standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
Your skills and experience:
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly
- Solid experience applying business analysis frameworks, methodologies and best practices
- Positive working with stakeholders at all levels, including seniors
- Experience working in Agile environments, with an understanding of Waterfall delivery models
- A continuous improvement mindset, with experience applying Lean thinking to drive efficiency
- Hands‑on experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience in commercial insurance or finance transformation is particularly desirable
