Hamilton Architects is seeking an experienced and technically accomplished Architectural Technician to join our Belfast studio in a senior delivery role. This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects and lead the technical delivery of high-quality, technically challenging schemes across the commercial fit‑out, security, education, cultural, civic and sports sectors throughout London and Northern Ireland.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record delivering coordinated RIBA Stage 4 packages on UK construction projects, exceptional construction detailing ability, and the confidence to lead project teams through technical design and delivery stages.

The Role

  • Lead the production and coordination of technical drawing packages and construction information
  • Manage and oversee the technical delivery of projects across multiple sectors
  • Lead and mentor project team members within a collaborative BIM‑led environment
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and wider design teams throughout project delivery
  • Develop detailed construction information and resolve technical design challenges
  • Oversee BIM coordination, clash detection and Common Data Environment workflows
  • Maintain high technical, documentation and quality standards across projects
  • Support project delivery through proactive problem solving and technical leadership

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading and delivering coordinated RIBA Stage 4 packages on UK construction projects
  • Excellent construction detailing knowledge and technical delivery capability
  • Strong experience managing project information and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong Revit capability, including modelling and technical detailing
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and technical compliance
  • Experience working within BIM‑led project environments
  • Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection
  • Experience using NBS specification platforms, including CAWS and Uniclass desirable
  • Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and lead projects proactively
