Role / Description
- Evaluation of hair dyes across a range of substrates and formulations, including wash and light fastness testing
- Assessing hair and scalp care actives to support their development and commercialisation
- Preparing samples, reagents, buffers and batch formulations for testing and analysis
- Recording experimental data accurately and preparing clear technical reports
- Maintaining and developing technical databases for the Hair Care team
- Keeping laboratory areas clean, organised and well-stocked, and maintaining lab equipment
- Preparing COSHH and risk assessments, working to company health, safety and quality procedures
- Supporting commercial and R&D project teams to help deliver new products to market
Requirements
- Minimum degree (or equivalent) in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Formulation sciences or relevant scientific discipline
- Practical laboratory experience gained through industry, a placement year, internship or university
- Full right to work in the UK; there is no sponsorship available for this role.
