Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Forward Sourcing Engineer for an organisation based in Maldon, Essex on a permanent basis. Salary: Competitive (depending on experience).

This position will focus on the contribution of procurement for new products and provide expertise from early phase development to end of life, and implement global strategies within product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of forward sourcing activities in the event of technical changes in production, including RfQ, price negotiation and awarding.
  • Planning and coordination of procurement scheduling.
  • Preparation of project documents in relation to company standards.
  • Reporting on KPI's and activities for forward sourcing.
  • Maintenance of master data in the ERP system.

Your Background:

  • Degree in relevant discipline - Engineering, Science or Business Administration.
  • Experienced in international sourcing, supply chain, or product development.
  • Knowledge of strategic purchasing and forwarding sourcing.
  • Strong technical understanding, preferably in mechanical processing.
