  • Assess manuscripts submitted to Chemical Science and make editorial recommendations.
  • Support Associate Editors throughout the peer review process to ensure a high quality author experience.
  • Monitor publishing workflows and help maintain efficient publication times.
  • Commission content and engage with leading researchers to attract high quality submissions.
  • Support themed collections, journal development activities and marketing initiatives.
  • Build relationships with authors, reviewers, Editorial Board members and the wider research community.
  • Use publication and market data to inform the journal's development strategy.
  • Represent the RSC at conferences, meetings and other community engagement activities.
