Talentmark are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer (CAD Engineer) to join a biopharmaceutical company on a contract basis for 6 months.
Salary: £17.79 to £30.26 per hour, depending upon experience.
Role
- Support a data cleansing and migration project involving PDM to Siemens PLM Teamcenter using a SWIM interface on SolidWorks.
- Support the cleaning, validation and migration of engineering data from PDM to Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
- Work with SolidWorks and the SWIM interface to facilitate data transfer and ensure data integrity.
- Review CAD files, metadata, part structures and associated documentation to identify and resolve data issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT and PLM stakeholders to support migration planning and execution.
Your Background
- Degree or higher education qualification in Design, Engineering or another relevant discipline preferred.
- Apprenticeship qualifications, NVQ/BTEC qualifications and equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, CAD Administrator or similar position.
- Strong experience with PDM and PLM systems.
- Strong understanding of CAD file structures, metadata and product lifecycle processes.
