Are you an experienced trades person / plumber? Can you work in a planned and reactive maintenance environment? Are you looking to work during the day, from Monday to Friday? Do you want to work in an interesting, creative, in-house environment? We are looking for an experienced tradesperson, with a plumbing bias, to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across our portfolio of buildings based in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will be working days (Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm) in a small, friendly and competent team where you will be carrying out repairs and maintenance in a creative environment across our 3 theatres in office locations and at our workshops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs within your trade discipline across the estate, this might include domestic pipe work.
  • Assisting with project work, installing new plumbing systems and services when required – up to 28mm pipework.
  • Ensuring tasks and reactive repairs are progressed to completion and within agreed time frames.
  • Working in accordance with all relevant health and safety legislation, codes of practice and company procedures.

Key Requirements

  • Significant experience in plumbing.
  • Qualified in Plumbing and Domestic Heating (6189) or NVQ Level 2.
  • Understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements.
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding and in confined spaces, and in a variety of work conditions.
  • Familiarity with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work with minimal supervision.

This role is a full-time, permanent opportunity, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A flexible approach is required for the occasional overtime to cover absence and annual leave as the business requires. The role is based in Stratford-upon-Avon with occasional travel to our London locations (expenses covered).
