We are looking for a Retail Warehouse and Logistics Assistant to work for the Royal Shakespeare Company. This is an exciting, varied role where you will assist the Deputy Head of Retail and team in the operations of the RSC's Retail Warehouse based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Retail, key areas of responsibility include:
- Monitoring sales performance using retail reporting tools, providing insights, and supporting strategies to maximise profitability.
- Tracking sales data and producing regular performance reports.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records.
- Communicating effectively with all retail locations.
- Managing product pricing, barcoding, and EPOS system updates to ensure data accuracy across all platforms.
- Processing all incoming stock accurately, ensuring all items are receipted correctly.
- Recording and verifying deliveries, promptly investigating, and reporting any discrepancies, missing items, or outstanding orders.
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:
- Experience of working with a POS system.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office.
- Experience of working in warehousing and logistics.
- Clean driving licence.
- Be able to work using your own initiative and be numerate.
- Commitment to providing the highest level of customer service.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Stratford upon Avon. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, although occasional weekend and evening work will be required. We are committed to building a diverse workforce and welcome applications from all individuals.
