Are you commercially minded, able to grow income and maximise profit in a competitive environment? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and a background in successfully running commercial operations? Are you looking for a new challenge that offers the opportunity to drive transformation in a creative, customer focused setting? This newly created role offers the opportunity to lead the RSC's operational enterprise teams, including Food & Beverage, Kitchens, Commercial Development, Sales and Events, with a connection to Retail.

As Head of Enterprise, you will take a combined strategic and operational approach to achieving financial resilience through generating sustainable income and ensuring operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone that has had full ownership of enterprise & commercial operations across a large operation. With a keen eye for income and profit generation, you will use your creative energy to bring new ideas to the RSC and drive the operation forward, whilst delivering a first‑class experience for all visitors and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial areas – F&B which includes a large restaurant, venue hire, wedding and events, commercial development and brand licensing.
  • Workforce planning and rota management, ensuring a world‑class visitor experience.
  • Oversee menu development and pricing strategies across all F&B offers.
  • Lead all teams to maximise income and profitability, identifying and implementing new income generating opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Commercial and financial acumen.
  • Budget management.
  • Strong commercial operations expertise, overseeing multi‑site operations.
  • Ability to analyse data and produce high quality reports for senior leaders and the Board.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrable people leadership skills across large, diverse teams.
  • Collaborative mindset.

Job Details:

  • Full‑time, permanent position based onsite in Stratford‑upon‑Avon.
  • Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some weekend and evening work as the business needs.
  • Close collaboration with the Head of Operations and Head of Visitor Experience to foster a high‑performing culture across all front‑facing teams.
