We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager (Restaurant) to be responsible for the delivery of excellent hospitality and efficient operational management of our 150 seated Rooftop Restaurant, cocktail bar and private dining room. Reporting to the Senior Food and Beverage Manager, key areas of responsibility include:

  • Leading the day-to-day delivery of a high-volume food and beverage operation, maintaining a high-quality service and memorable visitor experiences.
  • Driving commercial performance through effective planning, stock control, merchandising and service delivery.
  • Planning and communicating rotas to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Working collaboratively with the Kitchen, Front of House, Events, and wider teams to deliver seamless operations, including small events and group dining.
  • Creating welcoming, high-quality, and memorable experiences for all visitors, responding to feedback and continuously improving service standards.
  • Recruiting, developing and motivating teams to foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.
  • Proactively managing stock levels, wastage and operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities to enhance the food and beverage offer.
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, allergens, licensing, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation across all areas.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience leading fast-paced, high-volume food and beverage or hospitality operations.
  • Experience managing events, functions or performance-led service environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, staffing and stock performance.
  • A confident and inspiring leadership style, with the ability to develop and engage teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • A strong focus on delivering outstanding customer and visitor experiences.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, allergens, and Health & Safety requirements (formal qualification desirable).

This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Stratford-upon-Avon. Working 40 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends), 5 days out of 7 with 2 days off per week.
