Deputy Stage Manager (Part‑time, Maternity cover) The RSC is looking for a Deputy Stage Manager to join the team at Matilda The Musical in London.
The appointed candidate would ideally start in early August.
Role Summary Work within the Stage Management department to ensure the smooth running of performances and rehearsals on a fixed‑term, part‑time contract (Saturday and Sunday only) for 14 months.
The show runs Tuesday to Sunday with matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and a mid‑afternoon performance on Sundays; rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities & Experience Ensure the smooth running of performances and rehearsals.
Apply principles and safe working practices in all areas of Stage Management.
Have professional theatre experience; previous West End experience highly desirable.
Working Hours & Contract Part‑time, fixed‑term contract (Saturday and Sunday for 14 months).
Start date early August.
