The RSC is looking for a Deputy Lead Chaperone to join the team at Matilda The Musical in London. The appointed candidate would ideally start in April 2026. An experienced chaperone is required to assist in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children whilst in our care, making sure that they are properly supervised, have adequate meal breaks and sufficient rest and recreation. The appointed candidate will work closely with the Lead Chaperone in maintaining records and documents as required by the RSC and in supervising the other chaperones.

All applicants must hold a current chaperone licence. References required. This position is offered as a full-time, fixed-term contract for 12 months. The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Friday 13 February 2026. Interviews are expected to take place during the week commencing 23 February 2026.
