The Royal Scots Club is a private members Club with 31 en suite bedrooms, private members areas, a members dining room and a meeting and events venue catering for up to 150.
We currently have a vacancy for a full-time bar and lounge assistant. (30 hours per week) The shift pattern for this role can vary from day shift, to evening & function bars. The majority of the hours will be worked from 5pm onwards. Our rate of pay per hour is £12.00. During busier times there willbe overtime availableif you wishto increase hours.
Duties include –
To provide excellent customer service from tea & coffee, mid-morning snacks, lunch & evening drink receptions.
To always maintain a professional and welcoming approach when dealing with members, guests, and visitors.
To ensure high standards of service and efficiency of work and to maintain strict stock control measures and ensure stock rotation to meet budgeted gross profits.
To keep all bars, and cellars in an orderly and clean manner.
The ideal candidate should have previous bar experience and strong communication skills and have the ability to work alongside a team but also be able to work independently.
Good time and organisational skills.
Hard working and reliable with a strong work ethic.
To be flexible, adaptable and above all work calmly under pressure.
Uniform & meals will be provided on shift.
