The Digital Sales & Partnerships Manager will lead the development, management, and growth of revenue-generating partnerships for the Royal College of Pharmacy, the new entity of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society which is due for launch in April 2026. This role is responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, nurturing long-term strategic relationships, and delivering high-quality sponsored events, supported content, and advertising solutions across the College's media and educational platforms, including The Pharmaceutical Journal.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a pipeline of commercial partners across the pharmaceutical industry, life sciences, health tech, academia, and associated sectors.
- Identify and close new revenue opportunities across events, digital advertising, supported content, sponsorships, and other commercial propositions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, maintaining strong relationships through regular communication.
- Build multi-year relationships to secure recurring revenue and long-term partnerships.
- Track financial performance, revenue forecasts, and commercial KPIs.
- Represent the College at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, partnerships, media sales, or commercial roles—ideally within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or professional membership sectors.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple partner relationships and projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and solutions-focused.
- Confident relationship-builder with professional maturity.
How we are currently working:
RPS supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home; however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 4-8 working days per month at our London Office.
