Based at the Royal Opera House in the heart of London`s Covent Garden, our work is enjoyed by audiences in our two theatres and globally through our streaming platform, cinema season and company tours. The Royal Ballet and Opera`s Audiences and Commercial division plays a vital role in our success, driving income for the organisation, telling our story and encouraging people to engage with us. To help continue pushing our success forward, we are looking for a Senior Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing RBO`s revenues from content, such as films of our staged productions, audio recordings and imagery. This newly created role will also be responsible for driving secondary revenue growth from our live productions, as well as reaching new audiences, throughout the UK and globally. This exciting role will suit a professional who is a subject matter expert in their space and has the ability to lead collaboratively, inspiring trust in others, quickly establishing credibility, and demonstrating strong commercial acumen in an evolving environment. They will be able to deliver change in a complex organisation and have a key understanding of how to manage a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: A strong understanding of the digital space and the opportunities it creates, with substantial multimedia experience and evidence of delivering innovative digital initiatives A proven track record of setting strategies and the ability to handle abstract and complex problems, with a passion for creative problem-solving Experience of working in a customer facing enterprise Proven achievement in the creation and implementation of successful marketing, communications and engagement strategies that have increased revenue streams and organisational reach Leadership and management skills which have been developed at both strategic and operational levels, including effective management of a large team of talented, multi-disciplinary staff.
